My sil just got engaged  !! I am in seventh heaven. NOw she wants me to spice up her engagement party. ANy good ideas that are not to expensive but nice? I thought to make some napkin rings, take ribbon and tie around the napkins. Now what???

You can use digital scrapbook techniques to make tags/favors and such.
The centerpiece can make a plain table look really great.
Professional caters use simple props or themed kelim.

decor or stuff to do at the party. one idea for centerpieces is get short vases at a doller store. buy some roses. take the petals off the roses and put a bunch in the vase on top of water. put enough that it can support a tea light. spread some petals on the table arounf the vase. light the tealight

Queen your right I am the one that does chocolate, but have no strength to do them. The lechayim will be on wed. and I have really nothing to wear!! I don't own shabbos clothing besides one black dress that is too small. Tomorrow I am off again to look for something and I hope they actually have my size.
I am going to use the idea of putting a tea light in a cup, and then sprinkle glitter in it. Thanks for the idea.
More ideas are welcome I have only one more day to go out and pick things up.
