Hi, A Gut Moed!

My dh and I would like to go somewhere not too far (from brooklyn) and do something fun and interesting. Just one little thing, I don't like amusement parks and he doesn't like museums. We also have an opportunity to go (if we come up with an idea) with my friend and her dh.

TIA

hmm no amusement parks and no museums-that rules out like all our pre-kid chol hamoed trips (coney island, the met, jewish museum @ battery park, etc!)
um
what about the aquarium? thats fun
or you can do the bronx zoo (but its all outdoors and its kinda chilly)
statue of liberty (does that count as a museum)
circle line boat ride (again, its too cold today, IMO)

If you enjoy nature, there are beautiful botanical gardens. We went to Wave Hill last year, and I can't wait for the weathers to turn warmer so we can go again.

There are so many things to do in Central Park (the boathouse will probably be very crowded, though.) Or even just a walk down the streets in a nice neighborhood in the city. You can do window shopping. But that depends on what you enjoy.

DH & my 2 DS (post-teens) went to Motor Show @ Javits Center.

I am sooooooo happy to stay home, read, & talk to you guys.

Tomorrow I want to go fishing...I'll clean 'em!! (I did that w/ my son in law & grandchildren in Europe during the summer. So much fun!!)
