This thought recently occurred to me and I was wondering if this has ever come up before. Until the last 100 years or so, it was fairly common that not every child given birth to, survived. When the Torah lists the names and generations, are there babies and kids who passed away who are left out? I'm not talking about people who had fertility issues like Rochel or Sora. But did Tzipporah really only have 2 sons? Or are Gershom and Eliezer just the only ones who survived to adulthood?
