the only time I make dessert is if I'm having a lot of people over. but even then, I sometimes only serve sliced fruit or melon.

Similar to Nicole. I NEVER make dessert during the week, and will usually just serve fruit and Stella Doro cookies on shabbos. Generally, if we have a good dessert on shabbos, it's because a guest brought it!

momof3, whaddayaknow. If my kids knew how much I had, they'd give it to me! (I tell them that candies make holes in their teeth, and they're terrified of the dentist. So they limit themselves to one or two. They have no idea of the amounts I eat!)

We dont have dessert every night, but we have plenty of snacks!

I make dessert only for shabbos day and special occasions (ie. birthday) and otherwise if we are having guest. We do, however, finish up supper every night with fresh fruit (and left over dessert from shabbos, if there is any)
