I know my 12 month old is teething, but does it make sense that a fever & diarrhea go along with chewing her fingers?

I don't have kids yet so I don't know from experience but I have definitely heard from friends and family that fever is a side effect of teething. Don't know about the diarreah though. Maybe a quick call to his dr. could answer that.

My kids usually get a low fever when they where teething, for a day or so, and a few days of diarrhea and LOTS of drooling, one or two sleepless nights...I told someone today that DS1 has 16 teeth and DS2 has two , she asked how I remember and I told her each one is an experience...
