Other than Lee Turkey farm which opens at 2 on Sundays, is there any other fruit/veg picking place not too far from Brooklyn?

search on line ... long island claims it's closest ... or take a drive upstate to the catskills sounds like a nicer trip ...

If you don't have to pick, but you want to have a farm experience you can go to the Queens farm museum (I think it is in Douglaston). Most days there is a farmers' market and they raise a bunch of animals as well as fruits and veggies. Best of all I was told that entrance is free!
