One of you posted an amaaazing rice recipe that my family devoured. I need to share it with a friend. It called for all ingredients to go in Raw--then cover and bake
It had:
One chopped onion
One chopped pepper
A few spoonfulls of onion soup mix
One cup rice
Two cups water
And other stuff...
If this sounds familiar please post your tummy recipe

Not sure if this is what you're referring to but I've made this recipe a bunch of times and love it-
1 cup rice(I use brown)
1 onion chopped
1 red pepper, cubed
1 green pepper, cubed
1 c chopped mushroom
1 carrot ,coarsly grated
2 tb onion soup mix
1 tsp salt
4 tb cooking oil 2 c boiling water
put in foil pan, mix, cover with aluminim foil , bake 50 minutes covered and 10 uncovered. if u see its not done add some more water and bake until absorbed.

my basic recipe is 1 cup rice 2 cups water (double or triple as needed) and about a 1/4 cup each of soy sauce, oil, onion soup mix. you can add veggies too, not sure of you need to cook them first. (I never add veggies) another nice addition is to brown thin noodles and mix into the rice.
