I have still not unpacked (or found) my cookbooks since I moved around Pesach time...
I've found the carrot kugel from kosher pallette recipe among the recipes, but I'm in desperate need of 2 others:
Both from Spice and Spirit.
1. Creamy Broccoli Pie/Kugel
2. Sweet Potato Pie
I can "wing it" but would rather not, and hope to bake a whole mess today.
TIA, soooo soo much.

Well, those are the ones I've experience with so I know I like how they turn out, and I know I have the ingredients necessary (I think).
But if I can't get the SnS ones, I'd take anything to make sure I'm using a good ratio of things, etc.
I'm hoping to make all my kugels, etc. tonight (for Tishrei). But if I do not get to any tonight, will post that I"m still looking.

NotInNJMommy, what other things do you plan on freezing in advance? I'd like to do the same...

Freezing in advance:
Rice Kugels
Sw. Pot. Pies
Carrot Kugels
Broccoli Pies
Breads (I make Rhodes dough loaves, and buy some other challah)
Soups (concentrated likely)
Chicken/veggie with matza balls
Maybe carrot soup (from KBD entertains--the pink book)
Brothy soup for kreplach
Kreplach (for erev YK, and Hoshana Rabba): this is also lazy. Just cook beef, and use frozen puff pastry dough.
Lekach
Apple cake? (this might be ambitious for me--will see if dh will peel)
Chicken (sweet for RH, whatever for after YK)
(This I'll do probably last before RH--case won't be here for a couple weeks)
I'll probably cook any beef (other than kreplach) IYH right before that Shabbos. (all yomim tovim are shabbos except YK)
I work full time, and I know many things don't taste "as fresh" when frozen before hand, but it's this or store bought (which means something frozen MONTHS ago and insanely expensive and not tasting very good at all).
I cut a lot of corners and used canned carrots, canned sweet potatoes, and frozen broccoli.

Hopefully that should be my kugel inventory for Tishrei!
Thanks again for all the help!
