How to defrost/cook frozen raw puff pastry kugel/roll

I have made several different puff pastry filled items (a mushroom onion kugel, a cabbage roll, mushroom knishes). I have frozen them raw, unbaked. I'd like to know how to defrost and then bake them. Should they be first full defrost then baked as usual, or otherwise?
