I bought soy suace and just realized that it says Tamari soy suace on it. It's from the
"Shan yan yung" company, that's not really the name, but something like it! A large bottle with a red cap.
Does this taste different than the reg soy sauce, should I return it or will I be fine with using it?

Tamari is just wheat free soy sauce. Depending on the brand it can also be less sweet.

You should be able to use it pretty much the same way. Just go a bit easy as I found tamari to be more concentrated. Though I've noticed japanese and chinese (and ersatz israeli/heimische) brands have different flavours.
