My pediatrician is recommending this to my 15 month old who is not growing well and is allergic to milk and soy (to be used twice a day.) I plan on asking my rav but just curious - being not kosher, does this mean I have to wash his bottles out in the bathroom and if it is listed under dairy, is it actually?
mandksima, we also used nutramigen and we asked a rav about cleaning it and he said that there is no problem with cleaning it in the regular sink as the amount of treif, if there is, is so miniscule that it really does not matter in terms of your kosher dishes. if you want to know which rav told us that, you can PM me and ill let you know.

our pediatritian and a pediatric GI believe that my exclusively nursing daughter is allergic to milk in my breastmilk so I am off milk. she is over 4 months and I recently started a small amount of solids. can I use solids when im in a bind (cant nurse, no pumped milk and no special formula) instead of nursing or should I do some research and find out what formula I can use?

ps, the gi said I should not use soy as 30% of babies allergic to milk are also allergic to soy
