is it chewy? as in, do you like your carob chip cookies crunchy or chewy?

or maybe smooth, or creamy- think natural peanut butter?

perhaps soggy. like my granola is crunchy in the morning, but after sitting out for hours while I breastfeed my 4 kids under 3, it's kinda soggy.

(this post is not meant to insult anyone.... I was just thinking about it as I cooked for shabbos!)

Me - the anti crunch.

I do not believe in wearing my baby to the toilet. I do believe my bed is mine. I feed my kids based on the nutrients in the food and not on what is popular today in agenda mags like prevention. I do not like paying 3 times as much for something pulled out of the ground and not even washed as something that took a whole factory of union workers to produce. I do not have an inferiority complex if I do not keep ip with the real chumra of the month club - the crunchy crowd.

My opinion, One can avoid unhealthy foods and practices and not be crunchy at all.

Imaonwheels, as usual you are terrific!
I never thought of crunchy mothers as belonging to the chumra of the month club but there you have it!

I think I'm totally on the opposite end of the spectrum: I put chocolate flavored syrup-main ingredient is corn syrup, in my daughter's formula bottle cuz otherwise she will refuse to drink it......

I bought a pack of lollys to take along to the dr so we can weigh her weekly without needing 3 nurses and 15 minutes.....

When I was still breastfeeding her I had a stock of bottles in my mother's freezer and had no problem sending her over there and skipping a feeding.........

No no no the opposite of a crunchy momma is a crumby one. As in those mothers whose kids ask for cookies for breakfast are crumby mothers.

What if they eat them even before breakfast? In between swigging chocolate milk and beer?

We're pretty crunchy...

DH wears our baby when we go on vacation and strollers aren't a good choice.

I co sleep (with DH) for many years now.

My kids eat "homemade" french toast made with white bread and fried in oil.

I nurse my kids till their marriage, by providing all their needs like a good nurse. (who ever associated breastfeeding with nursing, two different things IMO)

I use cloth diapers for my babies (as a burp cloth).

I use cloth pads (those are bedikah cloths,no?)

I'll think of more.

I'll add to that...

I 'wear' my baby's spit up on all my clothing.

I tandem feed by holding the baby's bottle with one hand and my fork in the other.

I use alternative medicine, mostly in the form of healing kisses and imaginary boo boo creams.

OK I'll add.
I believe in attachment parenting until a very late age. My 25 year old and my 23 year old are both still attached to my credit cards, somehow my 19 year old is more attached to his father's credit cards and we finally weaned the 26.5 and the 29 year olds when they got married from their attachment...

I give my children only natural drinks, natural wine, natural schnaps, natural beer.

I believe in wearing my children (s).....picutures in a locket around my neck.

I believe in giving my children a balanced diet. For each potato chip they HAVE to have a bite of premium ice cream and for each bag of highly buttered and salted popcorn they MUST balance it out by hydrating themselves with a chocolate milkshake.
