Just beginning IY"H to enter this whole new world of parenting...does anyone know of a good pediatrician in the North Jersey area? We have pretty good insurance right now, B"H, so that shouldn't be a problem - I just need recommendations and don't know where to start!

We use Tenafly Pediatrics- they have offices in a few locations... you should check out their website. All the doctor's I've met are really nice and their offices are clean! I also like that they're high-tech. Everything is on computer and they email our prescriptions right to the pharmacy. I was amazed by it since my doctor still uses paper charts...

I second tenafly pediatrics. You can set up an interview with one of the drs before your baby is born to see and get a feel of the place. They will not take you as a patient if you won't vaccinate your children, though. I have used them for 3 years and very happy. They also have limited sunday hours 4 sick visits.
anon to protect location.

(Just a note that if you have any specific considerations that are important to you, you should probably mention them, e.g. supportive/knowledgeable about breastfeeding, vaccinations, hours available, how many in practice, etc... Smile)
