I'm looking for a (preferably cheap) place to go with DH for breakfast tomorrow as he is off. Any recommendations please? We never eat out-
Also, what can we expect to spend on breakfast for 2

I dont think you can sit down there. Its like grab and go- they have maybe 1 or 2 stools there, and I guess Id have to order.... BAGELS!

Haven't been there in forever - so I am not sure if they still have this or how much it is but Garden of Eat-In on Ave J (as previous poster mentioned) used to have a breakfast special that was VERY filling (like 2 eggs, hashbrowns, bread - toast or bagel, cup of juice and coffee - and I think you can spend an extra dollar and get a pancake too) and very worth the price.

Garden of Eat In has the "Hungry Man Special" which I think is like 5 or $6, but you have to order before 10am I believe. That's the 2 eggs, pancake, toast, oj, and coffee special. It is very filling!
Also, someone mentioned Cafe K which is REALLY DELICIOUS, and I think their breakfasts are not too terrible.... I think you could expect to spend about $20-25, but they stand out as being exceptional IMO. (I recommend the Mexican omelette.)
