I would like to know a good doctor for my dh. He doesn't have insurance so we have to pay we can't afford a very expensive one.
We live in Brooklyn

He should get some kind of insurance. As we age, the bloodwork and such is pricey out of pocket.

I think Dr. David Ziemba in BP is great (47th st. 14-15th). He is quite reasonable I believe for self paying patients and Ive seen tons of them there. Call and ask them. The staff is great there 718-438-0600- Tom. after 9:30 AM

BUT you will need to pay for any and all tests. Blood work alone can be a week's salary !

Thanks, we can't afford insurance now, the problem we are not americans yet so he can't even have medicaid. I don't think he needs blood work, just check some skins problems.

It's not what you think he needs, it's what the dr thinks he needs. If he goes for a check up, a dr will not like being told what tests your dh is going to do or not.
There is inexpensive insurance available; I dn't know what the deal is with citizenship or not, but you should check it out. You need it aat least for an emeergency.
