My ds has very bad reflux ( I totally sympathize with the drowning in a sea of spit thread). He has rice cereal added to his bottles. Even before that, he was pretty constipated in general. Now, it's terrible! He was on prune juice, but now even large amounts don't help. His GI recommended Dark Karo syrup added to his bottles. The problem is pharmacies that I've tried don't carry it, neither does Supreme Health Food Store. Anyone know where I can get it in the brooklyn area?

its not a medical item.... its corn syrup!!!! try the groceries....
PS I've heard of that recommendation before but it was for a very skinny baby to add calories.

corn syrup comes in 2 varieties- dark and light. Karo is a brand name....
