This Shabbos is my BIL's Ufruf.
We're all going to my In-Laws for Shabbos.
I offered to do some of the baking (for dessert and for the Kiddush).
So, here's what I made:
Thumbprint Cookies (Rolled in either: Coconut, Chocolate-Sprinkles, or Colorful Sprinkles, and filled with either: Raspberry Jam, Blueberry Jam, or Peach Jam).
Chocolate-Mint Cookies with White Chocolate Chips.
Tri-Colored Crumb-Bars.
and - Coffee-Toffee Bars.
I've been in my kitchen for the past 7 hours. There are 2 pans still in the oven....
After all the kids go to sleep tonight, I have to wash my dishes and floors...
I'm falling of my feet!!!
(At least I don't have to cook for Shabbos... just need to pack e/o's clothing and blankets...)

Great Job! Everything sounds delish!
Btw, can you post the recipes for...
-chocolate-mint cookies with white choco chips
-cofee-tofee bars
Thanks and enjoy a well-deserved no-cooking-neccessary Shabbos!

Mazal Tov Mishie, enjoy your Shabbos, and the Simcha (and those scrumptious cookies. )
That's interesting, I know that some people get married till Rosh Chodesh, but I didn't know that there is a minhag for after Rosh Chodesh as well? When does the period of Sefirah mourning begin for them?
very curious

Actually, This isn't the Last Shabbos B4 his wedding - But it IS the last Shabbos he'll be home. (he's getting married in another country, where we'll all be joining him, but he had to go back now)
So, he'll have 2 Shabbos Ufrufs. This one was more for the family and his friends here, and the REAL one will be at his Yeshiva and all his friends there.)
