what food supplements (vitamins/minerals etc) do you give to your kids, what are they for, and do you notice any difference now that they take them?

I give a multi vitamin
my pediatrition keeps saying it's not necessary to give anything.
Im confused about it -- I grew up in a house where my mother is very into vitamins. (though I'm not really)
BUT my kids don't eat so great so I feel better giving a multi vitamin.

Proper diet is much more important and preferable to vitamins and supplements. With that said, however, sometimes supplements are necessary.
I have had to give my kidlets various things at various times, such as probiotics, vitamin A, vitamin C, Omega-3. But I only prescribe things to my patients [and to my kiddies] to treat specific problems, not as a general everyday thing. Since I use the above things medicinally, yes, there was a difference after taking them.
I am very fortunate that my kids are all very into eating food that is good for them, Baruch Hashem.
