Has anyone ever had such a situation where a child has mild hearing loss due to the bone formations? is there anything to be done naturally for this.

Dr. said child hears too well for surgery to even be considered and to take a wait and see approach as he thinks things will stay status quo but I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

thanks

Are you referring to cholesteotoma?
I'd go for at least two opinions; find out who are the experts in this field and get their opinions.

dont think so. was told that its the way the bones are formed they slightly block the sound waves from going through - or something like that.

The Dr. said its not something that should get worse with time. He thinks it will stay status quo or get better with time if thats what it actually is.

My child has a mild hearing loss but not from bone formation. Ifyour doctor is one of the really good ones, I would just wait and go with their opinion.

What kind of surgery did you think about? Or was the doctor just saying?

I am very into natural things but have never heard of anything.

As long as the child gets all related services and schooling help, it is not that noticeable in their life.
