We're thinking of getting a hood for our stove. Our landlord doesn't want to pay for it. I know that we can get a hood for about $100. But I heard it's the installation that costs alot. Can anyone enlighten me? Here in Brooklyn - how much does it cost for installation? And I see there are ductless hoods. Does that mean it doesn't need a duct thru the wall to the outside? So that should be cheaper for installation reasons? But does it do a good job in ventilation? Also, how about the over-the-range microwave. Is it also easy installation?
