My good friend, BH, went on a Chabad sem program last year and is now considering herself machmir (coming from conservadox). She is looking for roomates, either on the Upper West Side or Upper East Side, for $1,000-$1,200 a month.

I wanted to add the reason behind sharing her level of religion. She is complaining that she cannot find anyone through online searches who respects the need for a kosher kitchen and other issues of observance.

my sister is frum, 21 and also looking for a frum roommate but she wants to be on the lower east side. would she consider being downtown? the community is really lovely.
