dd is 3 months old, and lately has been coughing. it's very dry and doesn't seem to bother her. she seems to be trying to get attention cuz she always stops when we come over to her or look at her. is this something I should wory about/speak to a dr? or is it possible she's just a big faker?

My baby did the same, but she was a bit older 5-6 months.
I ignored it, but don't know if a 3 month old would "know how to fake" for attention.

I saw on a few different websites that coughing can be a teething symptom because of excess saliva. she has been drooling more than usual but not a ton. she has definitely been fussy since shabbos and chews on her hands all the time (I know thats normal). sunday she was running a low fever but hasn't had fever since. could she be teething?

DD1 started doing this around 3 months. DH used to always say "oy vey" whenever she coughed and she learned realllllly quickly how to fake it to get that little bit more of attention.

It might be from teething or not. I had my babies caugh for months and months, going to the doctor every few wks to check if it reached the lungs but it never did. At the end I treated it naturally and got rid of it.

I doubt a 3 month old could fake cough. My youngest used to do this when he was 9-10 months. He'd pretend to choke, I came running---he giggled hysterically. he still does it, mostly while I am driving and he is board. (he is 19 months)
My 3 year old has it down to a science. He even tells me he needs medicine and the nebulizer. He is a strange kid, cause he loves the nebulizer....
