DH and I want to go somewhere just for the day and he says it's close to public transportation. Has anyone been & liked it?

I've been to the cold spring harbor fish hatchery
dh and I went on a date many years ago and I took the kids two years ago during summer vacation. Its fun, you can feed pools of fish and they have a tiny aquarium, you can see various stages of fish development, but thats about it.
what else is there to do in cold spring harbor?

ah, I was wondering why you'd plan a trip to cold spring harbor unless you happen to live on LI and have nothing else to do
