do I have to boil the sink water and let it cool for a 16 month old's formula bottles? if she would be drinking plain water I wouldn't boil it, do I have to davka boil the ones for the bottles?

For the first 6 weeks you should, then normally you too exhausted to wait for the water to boil or cool down LOL

I'm not sure where you are OP, but in both NJ and NY I was told it was not an issue.
My ped said "women don't have to sterilize their breasts, right?"

Actually bottled water is less healthy for babies than tap water as it contains far too much sodium that they should be getting
