reposted for a friend:
Does anyone know what the name of the formula is in Israel where the milk enzymes are already partially broken down? Someone in the Boston area needs this kind of formula for their baby and would prefer it to be kosher, but the kind made in the States is not currently kosher, and would like to bring some from Israel. Thanks in advance!

Elemental formulas are kosher, they just aren't labeled that way to avoid the DE designation
Try neocate or elecare

elecare just recently got a hechsher. nutramigen is not kosher as far as I know and neocate is okay but does not have a hechsher. by the way, wic and insurance pay for it with a drs. letter.

Nutramigen is Kosher in Israel. They import it here from a different factory than the one sold in the States. I have seen the teudah. It can only be bought her from the Kupat Cholim pharmacy WITH a perscription.
