As everyone is outside tonight grilling, DH and kids are desperate for a BBQ. Most of the neighbors have older models so we cant take recommendations from them.

We are looking for an outdoor gas grill- not expensive that doesnt need a rocket scientist to put together-

Recommendations Please- DH is counting on some help here from me!

Don't have a specific suggestion for you, because we use coal, but if you buy in Walmart, they put it together for you for free.

The best thing is not to compare yourself to others.

Start googling until you find your price range, then check out the ones that seem intriguing by googling XXYY grill reviews.

If you are in the USA walmart and cvs sell really cheap small gas grills that are portable and work great. it's easier to take care of then the huge ones and cook just as well. I actually like it better than the big ones. They last just as long as long as you take care of it.

The cost is $25 even if you do decide to get the bigger one you can keep this as a spare.

Good luck and happy shopping.

Ps. Walmart's you can get online.

I personally love and own a Weber Grill. You can check out a large selection at etronics.com where I purchased mine, as well as doing a google search for one.

Find someone with a subscription to Consumer Reports, and choose the best one in your price range. If nothing else, at least read their buying guide to get an idea of what features to look for. http://www.consumerreports.org.....d.htm It may even be worth it to pay for a month's online subscription ($6) to read their reviews and see the recommended models.

Weber is best, but Char-Broil is great and a bit cheaper.
We went with a Char-Broil at Home Depot that had the features we wanted and was in our price range.
I think this is the one we bought a few years ago.

Enjoy shopping!
