Try to add some protein to your menu. Like fish, chicken or meat. And eggs.

what abt a fish? or maybe some more salads. If not, I would add some chicken or a deli roll perhaps.

it's enough but I agree.

Adding eggs, liver, fish, deli as an appetizer will round out your meal and is the
more traditional way to go Smile

good luck!! Rolling Eyes

Not everyone has the minhag of zecher lemahn to eat eggs or liver by day. And not everyone likes it .. and what is OP going to do with the leftovers ? Since she posted anonymously, we have no idea about her personally ...

Cholent is flesh and I know they love, love cholent. I will add some fish or eggs as well. DH is allergic to deli roll and I don't eat it..I would serve chicken put we don't put on the blech so it would be cold..

Looks like enough to me but it seems a lot of posters would not think it was enough. So maybe add
something easy.

For 4 people I think it's enough, esp if OP knows guests like cholent. Hummous also has protein, kugel has eggs. Esp for lunch I don't really feel a need to add a separate meat/chicken dish.

But I presume she'll be serving some fruits or dessert?

I say it's enough. but I do agree to add fish and make it into 2 courses.
if it is a fleishig cholent, that is fine as a main dish.

in general, we tend to over serve, and eat, at shabbos meals.

IF you know that they like chulent, then I think you have enough for 4 ppl, so long as you make a big chulent.
