Maybe like 2-3 times, not close together, my baby (15 months) has gotten a spontaneous nosebleed. He does have mild eczema and some general dry skin issues but I was worries that the nosebleeds might mean something else is wrong.

Nosebleeds can be caused by cracking nasal membranes from overly dry air. It's more common in winter in centrally-heated houses, but if you live in a place where the climate is very dry, that can happen, too. It can also happen when a kid picks his nose and the fingernail scratches the membranes. There are other causes so you should ask your dr., but it's not an emergency. Meanitme, try putting a little petroleum jelly inside the nose to keep the membranes flexible.

I have a husband a couple kids who get nose bleeds a lot, and sometimes they are hard to stop. The ENT told us that a deviated septum can cause increased risk for nose bleeds.

Basically, when the cartilage that divides the nasal passages isn't quite in the center, the risk for nose bleeds is higher. If the bleed doesn't stop in a reasonable amount of time with compression and ice it may have to be taken care of by a doctor.
