I just bought one from a company called 'wholesome wear'. Google it. It's the 'extended' version, competely covering elbows, skirt past the knees, skirt closes in the water when you fasten the snaps, and leggings sort of paki(stan) style.

I got mine from here:
http://www.modestswimwearsolutions.com/
I believe that they've now moved to:
http://www.simply-modest.com/p.....x.php

I had a custom made one. I had the sleeves and leggings made longer, the neckline made higher, and the skirt made longer, not as tight either. To my measurements with the fabric of my choice.

I've never had an issue with the length of the skirt at all, it is all lycra fabric, cotton etc forget it.

They well patterns too which would be easy enough to adjust I'd imagine for sewers.

Are you ladies swimming in these in an all female pool, or is it for things like going tubing, ect?

I wore mine at Great Wolf Lodge - an Indoor water amusement park and also when I go to my parents house and various members bring their little kids into the pool at once.

thanks. what about the rest of you?

We have an indoor pool in the complex where we live. It is mixed but always quiet. Usually noone else is there but occasionally someone comes in, in summer anyway, rarely in winter. I have used it in a pool in my brother's apartment complex also, similarly quiet.

I have a dress from aquamodesta. It was very expensive but I didn't buy it and probably wouldn't have if it weren't a gift. I may have made my own. That being said, I do like it and it works very practically for hanging on the beach with my young children.

I wear a swim skirt from junonia. I agree as a former lifeguard that flowy skirts are very dangerous however shorter, more form fitting skirts are much easier to swim in than the flowy ones. as far as the long sleeves and capris go they are not dangerous. they can actually be very hydrodynamic if well fitted.

these suits are great for those who want to avoid skin cancer.

personally, I am not nuts about rash guards, if not more fitted, but wear them when outside swimming.

otherwise, I have a swim suit with a short skirt and wear that indoors.

ijust bought a suit from modestlyyourswimwear.com . it is very pretty, totally customizble ad cheaper and imo mre flattering than the others I have seen. added length to the skirt and the sleeves (didn't realize needed to ask for a higher neckline ) an got extra material from them for a headcover. I haven't worn it yet... it was $70 shipped.
