I'm trying to get a feel of what kind of aerobic classes people like. What is your favorite type? Could you post whether you workout at a gym, at home with videos or in someones house? Do you exercise with other frum women? Also could you specify specific class names? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

I work out at a women's gym where a lot of frum women go.

My favorite group classes are traditional step, BodyStep, and Zumba.

It seems like overall, the most popular classes at the gym are: BodyPump, Zumba, and various spinning classes. Of course, it all depends on the instructor, but I've noticed that even bland instructors can get a large class for BodyPump (which is Les Mill's version of an all-over strength training class).

I don't usually like to go to classes. I just do a cardio workout and then use machines BUT I recently started going to a Zumba class and love it!

I attend group fitness classes at the local JCC. My favorites are Les Mills body pump, and body step. I enjoy zumba but can only get into it if I can go very often (three times a week- so that I can get all the routines down).

I do every class my gym offers. I love love yoga, it has great benefits, mind & body. Tummy tuck & butt lift is good workout, zumba is fun, core on ball is intense in weights, I can go on & on, But yoga is for sure my fave

I used to attend a jazzercise class for years 60% cardio, 40% toning. I loved it and I miss it now. It was with only women at the JCC.
