Can you please post your salmon recipe? TIA!
Embarrasingly easy, but my fam loves it.
4 appetizer sized baby salmon filets (4 oz. each)
4 spoons sugar
salt and pepper
Wash and dry salmon very well.
Grease a 7x10 deep aluminum pan. Grease.
Arrange salmon in pan.
Sprinkle a spoon of sugar slowly over each separate piece of salmon.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Allow salmon to sit for 30 minutes until sugar has melted and and the taste has been absorbed.
Bake uncovered, in oven preheated to 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Then turn oven to broil, and bake another 10 minutes.

Beef Vegetable Soup with shredded cabbage
Spinach Lokshen Kugel
Baked Butternut Squash (honey and cinnamon)
Baked Almond Garlic Green Beans
Roasted Chicken with Baby Red Potatoes and a Honey Mustard Garlic Sauce (homemade sauce)
Cholent for Shabbos day
We'll probably buy challah/desserts this week, and my husband will make a big salad. We moved recently and I sprained my ankle last week.

Sure! I love this recipe and use it in all sorts of things. It's great over salads, everything. I got it from a website online and sort of tweak it according to what I'm cooking.
* 1/4 cup mayonnaise
* 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
* 1 tablespoon honey
* 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
Today for instance, since it was over the chicken I omitted the lemon juice and used a lot more mustard and honey. I added minced fresh garlic to the mixture (just whisk it in a bowl) and then poured it over the chicken and drizzled a little around the potatoes. Today's mixture contained almost equal amounts of mayo, mustard and honey.

Tehilla, that sounds good. I think I'll try it tomorrow. Do you bake it covered or uncovered?
And yishuv tov/refua sheleima.
Thank you! Amein!
I start out covered, then uncovered it. You can also reserve some of the sauce, poke the chicken and pour over it again when it's almost finished. I also still salt the potatoes.
P.S. I recommend taste-testing the sauce mixture so you can add anything to it (if it's too mustardy, too honey-y etc), before pouring over the stuff.

That does sound great Tehilla! I'm always looking for simple main dishes because I get home so late. I'm not cooking this shabbos, I'll try it next week!
