I usually make a delicious sweet & sour sauce to go with my batter fried chicken nuggets (like sesame chicken), but now I'm cooking for people who won't eat anything sweet. Does anyone have a good recipe for a spicy, thick sauce that I can make instead?

One of the varieties of duck sauce is called snappy ginger. It has a really good kick to it but its not crazy spicy.
