can anyone recommend some good books for a 3yr boy and a 20 month old

also I would like to get some as a gift for someone with a 3.5yr girl and 2 yr boy

I need to order and look online (which sometimes seems a bit harder than if I had a store here) as its hard to find things age related.

any suggestions would be appreciated

thanks!

Eric Carle, Dr. Seuss and David Shannon books are excellent.

"Is It Shabbos Yet" is a great Jewish book for that age.

The Menucha v'Simcha books are very sweet. (They advertise as being good for 2-5 year olds, but I started reading them to my daughter before that.

Also, the toddler series put out by Hachai are very nice. (Let's Go to Shul, I Go to the Doctor, I Go toShul, Let's Go Shopping, Let's Go to the Farm, I Go to a Wedding, I Go Visiting). These are written by Rikki Benenfeld. I highly recomend these.

I also like from Hachai, What do I say, and What else do I say? (Always nice to start teaching good manners at an early age!

For 1.5-2.5 yr olds, Sandra Boynton is great

For Jewish books for 3-6, I like Yossi and Laibel
