Ok I'm a brat and need a nutritionist with a ton of specifications:
1) She needs to be in Brooklyn so I can see her from time to time
2) she needs to be reasonably priced
3) she needs to be warm, reasonable and encouraging
4) I am post-partum, need to lose a lot and I need to see progress no matter how small I need to lose initially 25 lbs and then an additional 30-35 lbs long term...
5) I'd like s/one who is knowledgable in PCOS
6) I'd like s/one who will do phone/email appts and I can see her every other week. I wasn't consistent with my last one cuz I had to go in once a week and it wasn't working for me....

I think she meets all your specifications, but the only one I'm not sure about is #5 because I don't have experience with it. However, she's knowledgeable & competent so I'm sure she's knowledgeable in that area as well.

Phyllis Lifshitz (sp) in Flatbush/Midwood helped DH & DSIL. I didn't relate to her at all, but they had no problem & were very successful.
