but I hated it when all the smart alexy doc and nurses would take my english name. which had nothing to do with my jewish name and assume that it is related and call me a jewish name that wasnt mine own. !!! they tried being cute but it didnt work. my mom gave me a english name that had nothing to do with my hebrew name.

for that reason I only give my kids hebrew names. for yiddush and birth certificates. etc.
