I have pics with many of them and seen many many more but the above list where more then just a sighting

I am proud to say that I've only heard of 12 (counting Jade Jagger once; I actually never heard of her but am assuming she's Mick and Bianca's daughter? Has she actually done something to earn her celebrity?)

And I couldn't ID most of them from pix.

My cultural frame of reference fizzles out in the eighties, though I read the tabloid covers, magazines, occasional newspaper, and listen to the news, so I'm not totally out of pop culture.

I remembered that I was friends with the daughter of Gary Ackerman, who was in the House of Representatives or Senate. Lauren and I were in the same shul youth group.

My son was friends with a grandson of the Mayor or Bnei Brak, some long last name starting with a K.

My in-laws know Dudu Fisher.

I hardly recognise any names here, but I see Nachum Segal all the time and I was once in his house together with Curtis (from the Curtis and Cooby (sp?) Show and head of the guardian angels).

But the biggest celebrities I've met were R' Moshe Feinstein and R' Scheinberg.

the movie family man, with nicholas cage had some scenes filmed in teaneck (where I grew up) and so we went to one of the shootings. it was pretty funky because two houses that were used in that movie were frum jews and the movie revolves around x-mas time.

I also once saw a soap opera star (I forgot the name of the star - it was a LONG time ago) I think from one life to live in a mall in nj once.

Bibi Netanyahu, McGyver, John Denver many times before he died in a plane crash, and more. I used to have a job that brought me into contact with alot of famous people. No celebrity sightings recently though. I really have to get out more.

I once met John-Erik Hexum. He was in a show called Voyagers ... the 40+ crowd here might remember it. Then he shot himself playing Russian roulette in a movie filming..... oh well.
