Hi!
I'd like to get my kids (aged 4 and 6) involved in chessed.
What kind of prejects would be appropriate for them? Fund raising is a little too abstract for them - they need to see the actual chessed to appreciate it. Any thought?
Many thanks!

Wow! Thats beautiful. Maybe taking them to a nursing home/hospital & visiting elderly?
If tomchei shabbos allows it you can bring them along when helping to pack food (they can help!)

Visiting nursing homes, helping you make a meal for a simcha or someone in need come to mind right away.
This is wonderful that you're thinking this way, BTW. I will say that a lot of people have their kids (older of course) get involved in something like Tomchei Shabbos, etc., which creates an us vs. them feeling. Not that I'm knocking this; there is a need. But finding opportunities that are immediate is good, and healthy for the kids.
