Dr. Jeremiah Levine (frum) at Children's Schneider's Hospital. He's wonderful and is the head of pediatric GI at the hospital.
I don't know about insurance but considering it's at the hospital, they prob. take it.

Dr. Joel Rosh. He is not in NY- Located in Morristown NJ but came highly recommended and was worth the trip. In fact he is one of the best GI's in the US as per the top GI's in CHOP.

I made an appointment for Dr. Jeremaih Levin but couldnt get anything sooner than mid Dec. And now was on Vitals.com and I see he has a 2 1/5 star rating and I see Dr. Joel Rosh has a 5 star.
I also got a Dr. Kazlow which is on the website mimisinger posted too.
Oh well I'm very confused
Who is THE BEST DOCTOR?

Listen, different people like different doctors. Dr. Levine is wonderful. Amazing bedside manner and just great with the kids. He is the Head of Pediatric GI of the children's hospital. That's about as top as you can get.
It's up to you.
Btw, what's going on with your child?

We swear by Dr. Philip Kazlow, up at columbia presbyterian. I believe he is chief of clinical pediatric gastroenterology up at their children's hospital. He is a frum guy and a real mentsch along with being a great doctor/diagnostician.

Dr. Philip Kazlow is wonderful. We felt confused and unsure after getting a diagnosis for our child from a local doctor. We took him to see Dr. Kazlow for a second opinion. Even though all Dr. Kazlow did for us was to confirm the diagnosis, the trip was worth every minute. We felt secure that he could handle the problem, and help us. We continue to use him. I know others who also use him and also only have the best to say about him.
The best to your child.

It depends for what GI issue, if it's reflux, it's anyone, motility, specific docs, crohns, another set of docs. etc..
In general, I've found that Dr. Joseph Levy 212-263-5407 has the most pediatric experience.
