It's downsydromE. For starters, they can purchase "Down syndrome amongst us" which is a nice magazine for support or "spirit". Down sydrome from here is the one who publishes the first magazine. The judaica stores should sell them. Pm her for more resources and support centers.

Also, the child will probably need some therapy to help her. At a few weeks of age they can be evaluated at an early intervention center.
