my daughter has social issues.does not have a diagnosis but does have seit.where could I go in brooklyn that could teach her social skills.such as talking and initiating conversations with peers.turn taking etc?

Your best bet is probably to find a Behavioral therapist who does pragmatic play groups, where they put 2-3 kids together and let them interact, and correct whatever behaviors need to be helped.

My friend is a social skills therapist. She is excellent. She works in a special education elementary school, but does private one-on-one sessions as well. She works with each child and teaches the most basic skills to more advanced skills. She lives in Flatbush. You can PM me for her info.
