It's a Jewish film called Almost a Family by Tobi Einhorn and it played this past motzei Shabbos.
Has anyone seen it yet?

In my city it's being shown this coming Motzei Shabbos - my mother is going to take all of us to see it. Hopefully it's good; if not, we'll have fun just going out.

It's playing here (NY) again this motzei Shabbos too and I'm wondering what the reviews are. Would love to see it if it's good!

Toby Einhorn is my great aunt, and the story is like all her plays she directs. Sad, happy and a great missur haskel.

I've seen many of her plays and her last film so I know what you're saying is true, mimishkl. I'd just love to hear from someone who's seen it. I'm really surprised no one's said they have!

Saw it last night with my mother, sisters, and SIL. We really liked it, but part of it was just getting together and going out. On the scale of 1 to 10 that these things usually run, we would give it a 9. It was enjoyable, with no violence, suspense, horror, or forced comic relief.
