my sister was diagnosed with crohns/colitis 2 years ago and we feel the article didn't give a full portrayal of life with crohn's. the article seem very simplified and left out the emotional aspects of the disease....

Yes, it was very simplified. How much could you expect in one brief overview? I think it did deal with the emotions, to some extent in a very general way.

I find that family first is really like that sometimes, they have great topics but somehow you often come out of the article wishing there was a little more there...
