Does anyone know of agencies or organizations in ny that help with Pesach expenses? I know there are places that give out food or vouchers but how do I find them and get on their lists? We unfortunately really need it this year.

local JCCs do it (either a package ot a voucher to a local grocery). there are JCCin boro park, flatbush, williamsburg, bensonhurst, canarsie and brighton.
check here for their phone numbers (use a drop down menu for brooklyn as I see the map doesn't have all of them)

sometimes these things are distributed through shuls. Perhaps if you are not too embarrassed you can approach your rabbi and ask?

Speak to any of the Gaboim in Landaus, L and E9th. They are always making appeals, last year they raised over 100K BH, and gave out about 1800/family..

There is a HUGE pesach food distribution in Bensonhurst by Ohel Moshefor mainly Rebbeim and Kollel yungerleit call 7182364003

Rabbi Deutch on the corner of 16th avenue and 41st street (living torah museum) has a food distribution. I'm not sure how to get on the list, but you can just call them.

Met Council is offering a $500 grant for families for Pesach for non food items. You may want to try them as well.
