Wasn't in Manhattan's, but the Brooklyn one is fantastic for little kids. Very hands-on and interesting. My kids (ages 2-7) loved it!

Just an FYI, the Manhattan museum does not allow strollers. So you have to park it, and then either carry baby or use a carrier.
