I have a friend who is very overwhelmed. She is the sole breadwinner of the family. (I do not know all of the details but it seems like her husband has a hard time finding a job since he left the yeshiva. He trained for something but it did not work out) They live in a small appt with number of kids. She does not get as much support and help as she needs. Then two of her kids (the oldest and the youngest) have medical needs. The youngest has various medical problems and is developmentally delayed. I spoke with her today and she sounds very discouraged, I feel that she would benefit from talking to other mothers specifically with children with developmental delays. Are there any support groups on line?

specialfrummoms@yahoo.com, she can join the special needs forum on Imamother. Best place for support is diagnosis specific yahoo groups.

happyone is right. Special frum moms is great, as are groups for specific challenges. There's also Beineinu, which connects parents of special needs kids with other parents who have kids with the same needs.
