They are proposing a THIRD cut to reimbursement for services! Quality therapists are rapidly leaving the field in pursuit of other venues that will provide better payment for the immense years of experience they have. Your children will not be able to get the quality and quantity of services because of all the cuts and it can have a tremendous impact on them later on in life.

Email your protest to the decision makers in Albany, in one easy step by going to the following link: www.agenciesforchildrenstherap......html

Not only will your children be impacted, but many people in our community, who are employed through this program, will lose their jobs.

I don't know how CPSE and CSE are being cut but I know that they are. EI is a little different as it is in a different dep't in the city. I think it's being cut the most drastically from all the programs.

absolutely ridiculous!!!!!

My son has about 2 months left til he ages out of EI and I pray to HaShem that his services dont get slashed for these few weeks...

Mama Bear, they probably won't, but think of all the children that are younger than him needing services. There are so many severely impaired children, with a host of diagnoses such as microcephaly, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, etc, and the families have to fight so hard to get basic services. It's absolutely terrible.
