what do I write in a thank you note to my son's rebbi?

Rosh Hashana/Sukkos time, Chanukah, Purim, Pesach and end of year. Someone once told me they try to write thank you notes every Rosh Chodesh to all the teachers and Rebbes (and they have about 9 kids...!) Good luck!!

I would assume you write what you are thanking him for. here's a possible list:
teaching your son what you expect him to learn
teaching your son more than what you expected him to learn
how much nachas you get from seeing your child grow under his tutelage (though I probably wouldn't use the word "tutelage").
how much you appreciate the attention he's giving your son
etc.
please do not write a poem. poems are not appropriate for this purpose. poems are appropriate in love letters or eulogies. that is all. just a friendly suggestion.
