Does anyone know if there is public transportation between Staten Island and Brooklyn? Either Jewish or otherwise?
My friend wants to move there but if there is no public transportation then buying a car would be just as expensive as living in Brooklyn. Is it cheaper to live in Staten Island anyway?

There is a city bus that takes you to SI form Brooklyn. I think it might be 2 buses-you have to transfer.

IIRC it's a train, bus, & ferry away.
Was gonna do it once but it sounded too complicated.

Depending where in Brooklyn and Staten island you need to go- it can take a train and two buses. It's a hassle and can take a long time, but is doable if you're desperate.

Its not fun
F from BP/Flatbush to Stillwell N to 59 R to 95/4
S62 X service on weekdays
If the driver of the Lakewood bus is in a good mood you can get off in SI

thank you very much for your help everyone. It sounds like it's doable but not really worth the time it takes... I guess we will have to look into it further. thank you!
