Shosh took the words right out of my mouth. By age 5 if he still has dysfluencies, an evaluation would definitely be a good idea. Good luck!(just make sure to go to a speech therapist who specializes in stuttering, and not just anybody).

I second that!
In my life I have been very lucky to find therapists that specialize in stuttering. In college I even took part in a stuttering group where I had a student therapist whose semester long project was to work only with me! How lucky was that!
