It says OU-D on the box, but is it just dairy equipment? Do you keep cholov yisroel and eat Quaker Squares?

The OU did away with the Ou-De sign. Everything says OU-D whether it is actually dairy or just DE. You can call the OU and they will tell you if it is dairy or just DE.

I called the OU kashrus hotline (the # is on their website), to ask specifically about Oreos and Quaker Oat Squares, both of which are labelled OU-D, but have no dairy in the ingredients listed.

I was told both are pareve, but dairy equipment.
